Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist is responsible for proactively sourcing candidates to create a pipeline of eligible team members;

partnering with the hiring managers to ensure interview, hires, and onboarding is handled in a timely manner; This position represents Goodwin Living at hiring events and in the community.

This position will act strategically to expand the recruitment methods, define and out on metrics, and creatively develop pathways to employment.

Responsibilities

• 1. Partner with Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) management and hiring teams to develop the candidate profile, identify selection criteria, and define / guide the workflow process.
• Provide hiring managers with regular feedback on search process, candidate profiles, challenges, and opportunities. This includes providing hiring managers with candidate feedback on process.

Also includes consulting with hiring manager and HR Director on offer details.

• Provide leadership with recruiting metrics on an on-going basis.
• Partner with HCBS management to design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements and are optimized for candidate engagement.
• Post positions on Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and on additional sourcing websites as needed, in a timely manner.
• Manage and track all candidates and recruiting metrics within our ATS.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and schedule interviews with qualified candidates as requested.
• Communicate effectively with the interview team to ensure preparedness throughout the interview process. Share and exchange information with all levels of the organization.
• Evaluate skill level, conduct efficient and professional interview process, and drive offer process, salary recommendations and negotiations, and closing of candidates in a timely manner.
• Act as a candidate advocate and provide all candidates with an exceptional experience, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the process.
• Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media as well as candidates who apply via the ATS.
• Participate in community recruitment / employment activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience in talent acquisition required.
• One year of healthcare recruiting experience required.
• Experience with using an Applicant Tracking System.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and SharePoint.
• Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of goals.
