As a pre-processor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include sorting through donations, which may include textiles, shoes, and accessories, household items, holiday items, wares, and other miscellaneous donations. You will be working in a warehouse setting, and occasionally, you may have to travel to an existing retail location to work or assist in opening a brand-new retail location.

Salary starts at $13/hour, guaranteed 38 hours/week.

Position Summary: Process donations into specific categories and supports retail operations in new store set up including, but not limited to, store set up and product merchandising.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Adherence to the attendance and punctuality policies of GINM.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills as related to your position.
• Possesses knowledge of daily, weekly, and monthly production goals for GINM and reaches those goals.
• Sort through donations putting all saleable items into appropriate categories to be placed in designated gaylords.
• Place all unsaleable products in designated gaylords for transportation back to the warehouse.
• Collects all found money and jewelry and hands in daily to the supervisor.
• Identifying items that are acceptable according to standards to sell in the store.
• Ability to recognize products that are better suited for Ecommerce.
• Maintains production levels; documents timely and accurately the number of items/gaylords processed and s to supervisor.
• Maintains work area in an organized manner.
• Transports boxes, bins and crates to work areas; distributes items and salvage to appropriate areas; disposes of unsaleable items.
• Operates material handling equipment.
• Follows and enforces all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and walk, and may be required to stand for eight or more hours. Work is generally performed indoors in a retail setting where the employee will have frequent contact with the public. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift/move up to 50lbs and may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

• High School Diploma/GED, preferred.
• One year work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
