Are you an educator who is passionate about helping children to have the best possible start in life? Do you want to work for an organisation that offers genuine career opportunities to help you succeed?
We’re Goodstart
At Goodstart, we’re all about laying the foundation for better lives through amazing early learning experiences, and we know that we can’t do that without great people!
From our centre directors to centre teams, we work together to make a real difference for children in those crucial early years.
Safety, health, and wellbeing are more than just words to us, they are a personal commitment and a promise we make to our children, our families and each other every day.
We’re Goodstart – a not-for-profit with a vision for Australia’s children to have the best possible start in life.
Your Impact
As an Educator at Goodstart Bateau Bay, you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and response to the needs of all children.
Our Centre
Our centre is in the local Central Coast community of Bateau Bay, conveniently located on The Entrance Rd, not far from the local beaches and Wyrrabalong National Park.
We educate and care for children between six weeks and six years old across three indoor learning spaces. At Goodstart Bateau Bay we believe children learn through play in an environment rich with choice. Our indoor and outdoor learning environments are designed with a focus on play-based learning with a range of open-ended natural materials and play spaces available for children to explore, experiment and discover.
Our centre is a 62-place service. We have three rooms with the age configuration varying to meet the needs of new families.
You’ll help achieve this by
Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
Complying with the National Quality Standards and Goodstart policy and procedures.
Using and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide to support Senior Educators and Teachers in the delivery of high-quality education programs.
Building and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
Contributing to a professional and positive work culture.
