Casual Educator – Goodstart Echuca

The Opportunity

Goodstart Early Learning Echuca is a 105 place centre, located on the edge of Echuca in a residential area conveniently close to local industry and commercial areas. Working alongside a highly skilled CD who have been with Goodstart for 12+ years. Great, engaging and friendly culture within the centre, community focused centre and passionate about maintaining strong relationships with families

Working as the casual educator, you will assist with running the children’s daily routines. You’ll enjoy flexible hours and variety all while being supported by an experienced group of educators.

Our services are open from 6:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday. You will be required to be available for multiple shifts each week and have flexibility to work at short notice.

Qualifications

Hold an ACECQA approved Cert III or Diploma qualification

Valid Working with Children’s Check

Working knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

Being child led with your approach to education

Ability across a variety of shifts where required

Responsibilities

Plan and implement innovative and high-quality educational programs for each individual child

Lead, mentor and support a team of passionate educators within your room

Actively contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans

Ensure learning and development is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children and the centre team

Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
