What about the role?

As a Casual Educator at the Angle Park EChO Centre, you will need to:

Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members.

Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies and Procedures.

Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to support the Senior Educator/Teacher in the delivery of high-quality education programs and practices in the room.

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.

Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the Centre team.

Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

Contribute to a professional and positive work culture.

What is an EChO Centre?

Our EChO initiative is a targeted approach within Goodstart’s Social Inclusion Strategy that builds on our universally available early learning and care programs.

The approach uses an Enhanced Service Delivery Model to provide wrap around intensive and sustainable resources to Goodstart Early Learning centres located in communities where children are more vulnerable to poor outcomes.

Ok, so what do you need?

A strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Share our passion on being child led, with your approach to their education being centre of mind

Planning and implementing some awesome and high-quality educational programs

Working across a variety of shifts – we’ll always do our best to accommodate your preferences!

You’ll have to hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or an ACECQA approved equivalent), this is essential.
