About the Department

Governance and Legal Services is responsible for maintaining the systems which need to be in place to ensure that the College is effectively governed and operates in compliance with the regulatory systems and statutory duties by which it is bound.

About the Role

The role is for a Student Casework Officer, The Student Casework Team covers a wide range of accountability across the College, including student complaints, academic appeals as well as student conduct matters. The position holder is expected to be responsible for overseeing casework in these three crucial areas of College operation. You will work closely with Heads of Department to resolve complaints and appeals for students, as well as oversee student disciplinary procedures which can include a wide range of issues. The role is mixed remote based and office based, and it is crucial that applicants are able to perform their duties from home efficiently.

About the Candidate

You will have an undergraduate degree and ideally a background in casework, as well as experience in working in HE. You will be required to work mixed remotely and hot desking on campus, so it is crucial that the applicant can work well alone, with a track record in adhering to demanding KPI targets.
