Golden Pear Funding Hiring for Jr. Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Golden Pear Funding is a specialty finance company based nation-wide and is seeking an Junior Accountant to join our Finance/Accounting team. We have 70+ employees and we are a nimble rapidly growing company and one of the top-tier players in our niche market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post daily and monthly journal entries into the general ledger system
• Daily cash analysis including reconciliations to numerous bank accounts
• Process accounts payable invoices to numerous vendors
• Prepare monthly schedules for cash, intercompanies, fixed assets and accounts payables/receivable
• Provide periodic accounting reports and one-off inquiries in preparation for due-diligence by auditors and lenders
• Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in Accounting
• Possesses a minimum of one years’ work experience in accounting

• Strong understanding of general ledger systems (previous use of Great Plains a plus)
• Possesses a strong ability to pay attention to details and the ability to multi-task
• Demonstrates excellent Excel skills
• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, desire and an ability to work within a team environment
• Demonstrates high energy, creativity, intellectual curiosity, a relentless customer-focus and an entrepreneurial drive
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
