The role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Services Manager, the Accounts Assistant will carry out the day to day BAU of the accounts team within Golden Charter, ensuring a high level of service and SLAs are met. The role is 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raising of invoices
• Allocation of cash
• Processing of direct debit runs
• Processing customer refunds and cancellations in a timely professional manner

Credit Control:

• Liaising with customers to collect outstanding debt
• Contacting customers regards aged debt and arranging suitable payment options

Accounts Payable:

• Processing of Invoices
• Raising and matching of purchase orders and maintaining the ledger
• Processing of expenses claims
• Control of company credit cards and monthly reconciliation
• Processing of commission runs
• Dealing with supplier queries

Essential Criteria:

• Previous finance experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience within a fast paced finance team
