Goldco Direct LLC Hiring for VP of Finance & Accounting Job at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

Goldco is a fast-growing precious metals company and we are searching for a VP of Finance & Accounting, who will be a key member of the team! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a corporate finance environment within the direct marketing industry.

We are looking for a high energy leader that can develop strategic operating plans and financial forecasts while driving systems, processes and controls to enable broader financial subject area expertise within the organization. This leader must be a partner who understands business drivers that enable the organization to continue its rapid pace of development and scale.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Serve as a financial advisor to the executive team for strategic planning purposes

• Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll and tax preparation

• Develop appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses

• Manage budgeting process

• Responsible for gathering financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance

• Coordinate the preparation of of annual, quarterly and monthly reports

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline (advance degree preferred)

• Five to 10 years of managerial experience

• Certifications like CPA, CFA or CMA are preferred

• Detail oriented

• Effective communication, presentation, problem-solving and project-management skills

Physical Demands

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 75% of the time.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, computer and printer.

• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, vendors and other third-parties.

Salary will be based upon experience, plus bonus opportunities; health benefits and 401k available after 90 days; accrued paid time off; paid holidays.
