About the role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer we are seeking an experienced Systems and Business Analyst to lead important business improvement projects with a focus on implementing and upgrading a number of applications and processes across Gold Road to help underpin our significant future growth plans.

Our ideal person will have excellent operational system administration and project management skills and have sound strategy and planning initiative too. You will need to have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to truly engage and influence key people across different levels of our business.

You will be responsible for assigning tasks to the right project resources, checking on their progress, and ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.

This role is offered on a permanent basis in our West Perth based office, with travel to site and other locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

Broadly, your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the delivery, administration and optimisation of Pronto ERP.
• Be involved at a strategic level in long term strategies for information systems supporting the finance team.
• Drive the continued deployment of Pronto to ensure it aligns with Gold Road’s business processes and strategic vision.
• Contribute to the development of a culture of high performance and continuous improvement processes working towards best practice.
• Contribute to developing processes and business documentation across the Finance and Commercial functions.
• Manage and directly help to deliver the implementation and ongoing administration of automation opportunities in the Finance and Commercial functions
• Identify and deliver the implementation of the most suitable platform/application to assist the Finance and Commercial functions with their Management Reporting needs and planning and forecasting cycles.
• Prepare business case justification and cost v benefit analysis for Pronto spending and other initiatives.
• Manage the delivery of any future Post Merger Integration activities for the Finance and Commercial functions

About yourself

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree or similar in Commerce, Accounting/Finance or Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Systems
• Significant experience using, supporting, and administering Pronto and other ERP systems within a mining environment.
• Significant experience in delivering, supporting and administering financial planning and management reporting applications
• Ability to organise, manage, drive, and deliver projects to successful completion
• Ability to challenge and recommend improvement to the current processes, systems, and policies.
• Ability to create strong working relationships across various functions of the business
• Have exceptional planning, and communication skills.
