GoDaddy Hiring for Advanced Technical Support – MSSL Job at Remote Full Time

Location Details: Remote – U.K. , India, Romania, and Serbia

Remote: This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

What you’ll get to do…

The MSSL team assists customers with requesting & validating their SSL certificate. They complete the SSL installation, redirects, configuration, & submitting a sitemap to Google. They also work to resolve any other SSL certificate errors on different types of hosting platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS).

• Requesting and installing SSL Certificates (this role will resolve customer issues through support tickets)
• Code reading to fix mixed content
• Feeding our system with new findings to improve our automation process
• Troubleshooting customers websites with WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and other CMS software

Your experience should include…

• General understanding of security principles and use good security practices in general
• Linux experience – CLI and cPanel
• Experience with Apache, Nginx and other web servers
• Experience with WordPress, Joomla, Magento, vBulletin and other CMS software
• Web Malware Experience (understanding)
• PHP and Shell scripting/automation
• Open source and community participation and contributions a plus
