Tutor – Maths – Remote

Overall Purpose of Role: *
To provide academic, pastoral and technical support to learners studying accredited online Maths provision up to Level 2 using the online, self-guided learning platform, BKSB.

*
Main Responsibilities: *

• Teach and assess Functional Skills Maths
• To conduct regular progress reviews
• To assess student work and provide feedback on performance
• To support and adhere to internal and external quality assurance processes and procedures
• Advocate the importance of Functional Skills amongst staff, employers and learners
• To interact with learners on a regular and scheduled basis through Microsoft Teams (supplied) by phone and email
• To undertake timely and scheduled reporting and to submit required evidence of learning
• To assist with any audit activities as necessary
• To maintain the confidentiality of customer information in accordance with the Data Protection Act

Unqualified Tutors £21,000
Level 3 Qualified Tutors £24,000
Leave 4 and above Qualified Tutors £26,000 – £28,000
