GMI USA CORP Hiring for Production Manager – Footwear at NEW YORK, New York Full Time

 RESPONSIBILTIES: 

• Place and confirm production orders with factories
• Manage production from PO to delivery to our DC for 4 brands.
• inform sales team of any production delays that cause delivery move out
• review weekly production reports and report delays/improvements
• issue amendments
• Factory Set up in system
• initiate requirements for LC
• order special ticketing for required customers & send to factories
• Assist in other areas as needed for the division.
• Prepare pack plans and/or follow labeling instructions
• Monitor and maintain accuracy of HTS code
• Logistics – Request quotes & confirm vessel bookings and update in M3
• Analyze and assess delay requests from overseas offices and factories.
• Analyze any changes necessary for freight, duty rates, etc.
• Compliance – shoe box and carton labels, special ticketing, special packaging, carton size limitations, shoe box supplier confirmation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have Footwear experience*********
• Import footwear production experience
• Strong excel skills
• Comfortable using the following computer applications- MacOS, gmail, Dropbox And saavy with ERP
• Ability to multi task / work with changing priorities daily
• Ability to coordinate and work with 4 brands
• Highly organized
• Ability to work independently, take initiative to learn and start up processes where needed, help build the team.

• Position is Full time and IN-OFFICE. Remote work not available.
