GMG EnviroSafe Hiring for Director – Accounting Job at Remote Full Time

Position Summary

GMG EnviroSafe provides EPA, OSHA, and DOT compliance expertise and personal support to general industry throughout the United States and Canada. The Director – Accounting is responsible for the accounting operations and strategy of our organization.

Essential Functions

• Lead all accounting functions, including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, expense reimbursement, and corporate credit cards.
• Maintain all aspects of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Hire, train, manage, and develop the Accounting team members.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and participate in annual strategic planning.
• Create, analyze, and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Implement effective internal financial and operational controls for all areas of the organization.
• Act as the primary contact and work in partnership with our banking partner.
• Assess our pricing strategy by vertical market by working closely with Sales and Operations.
• Continuously identify opportunities to optimize accounting processes, policies, and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong change management skills. Proven track record of developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
• Great communicator: clear, direct, and accessible. Comfortable listening, providing feedback, and reporting progress and results to leadership.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to work from home: functional computer, high-speed internet connection, and autonomous time management.
• High level of proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Teams.

Compensation

• Minimum Salary: $100,000.00
• Maximum Salary: $120,000.00
