Glyndŵr University Hiring for Lecturer Primary Education with QTS Job at Wrexham, Wales Full Time

The Faculty of Social and Life Sciences at Wrexham Glyndwr University provides a learning environment which allows students to engage with inspirational teaching and applied research excellence, enabling students to become graduates who transform lives, organisations and communities in their sector.
The Education department at Glyndwr University has a thriving Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programme offering a BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS and a Primary PGCE; both franchised with St. Mary’s Twickenham. The programmes are recruiting well and we are now in a position where we need to recruit a new full-time lecturer to work on these programmes. The post holder will teach on the programmes, carry out research and scholarly activity and contribute to these programmes as required.
The post holder will undertake a teaching role within the QTS programmes and will contribute towards ensuring that academic quality and standards of the university are maintained, and the student experience is continually enhanced.
We are looking for a lecturer with QTS who is an excellent primary classroom practitioner. Applicants should be able to demonstrate exciting and innovative cross curricula approaches and pedagogies of learning and teaching within Primary Education. Applicants should also be able to evidence how they have developed their theory alongside their practice.
