Controller

GlyMed Plus, the trusted leader in the professional skincare industry, is looking for a Controller to join our team of skincare enthusiasts. GlyMed has been in business for over 31 years. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the accuracy of accounting processes, procedures and will work closely with the Vice President of Accounting and Finance. This role is adhering to all compliance regulations and procedures, including GAAP. You will have an Accounting Team to help lead.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records

· Prepare Financial Statements & Reporting to GAAP, Month-end Close, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Accounting, GL, Chart of Accounts, Job Costing, AP, Budget & Credit Card Administration

· Implementing Automated/Manual Processes, Outside Audits, Sales Tax Filings, Governmental Reporting, Vendor Management, KPIs, Budgeting, Forecasting, FP&A, Treasury, Internal Controls, Taxes, Payroll, Billing, AR, Cash Application, Collections,

· Bookkeeping, Insurance Administration, Pricing, ROI Analysis, Banking, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Drive Efficiency Company Wide, and Manage Team

· Work effectively with others, particularly communicating and coaching with employees and other departments

· Take ownership of department responsibilities, workflows and processes with a “whole company team” in mind

· Voluntarily look to and take on additional duties

· Support most aspects of accounting management (GL, AR, AP, sales, expenses, reporting etc.)

· Manage monthly financial close process (reconciliation, journal entries, etc.) for President and VP Accounting to review

· Assist in providing information for, and preparing, departmental budgets and forecasts

· Assist in developing reports for management and/or outside parties

Qualifications required:

· Product/BOM Cost Accounting experience

· 7+ years accounting experience, preferably in the duties listed

· 2+ years Managerial experience

· Accounting Bachelor’s Degree

· Accounting Master’s Degree or MBA preferred – CPA a plus

· Experience with NetSuite software (ERP) a plus

· Comfortable working in a high growth, fast paced environment (Company growing at rapid clip)

· Pass drug screen at any time and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
