Duties and Responsibilities

· Manages the planning and direction of accounting activities, including the maintenance of the ledger accounts and financial statements down to transactional level

· Manage relationships with banks, internal and external auditors, etc

· Timely and accurate IFRS/US GAAP and statutory financial statement and disclosure preparation including management of monthly /year end close processes, management representation and sign off financial statements.

· Provides financial support including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting and variance analysis

· Ensures systems controls are in place and determines operation’s consistency with corporate objectives and standards through various verification methods and procedures

· Creates financial models of “what if” scenarios to help future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies

· Prepares and maintains statutory and tax records, returns, reports and other related materials

· To assess risk and develop and implements controls and cost-effective approaches to minimize the organization’s risks as well as communicate information regarding business risks with functions across the Company

· Ensures the effectiveness of internal controls in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards

· Ensures that documentation for all processes across the organization is reviewed and updated periodically

· Prepare analysis for investment in new equipment or disposition of idle/obsolete equipment.

· Oversee inventory counts and be responsible for tracking/valuing all materials, WIP and finished goods

· Maintain and enhance professional and technical knowledge through continued education courses, professional publications and active participation in professional networks.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to electronics testing. Mainly working in an office setting. Employee may be required to work in areas with noise levels above 85dB. Employee may be exposed to hot temperatures during the summer months and cold temperatures during the winter months. Foot and eye protection required as appropriate to the area in which the employee will be working. This may vary from day-to-day.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 20 lbs. and do light grasping. The employee may occasionally reach above shoulder height.

Position Type & Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours may vary depending on the shift and season. Normal work days are typically Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Required/Desired Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)

· Strong Proficiency in Microsoft products, database software and other applicable account and financial software and systems. Experience with SAGE a plus.

· 5-7 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience (manufacturing experience preferred)

· Experience in a diverse multinational company preferred

· Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

· Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with subordinates, peers and senior management

· Ability to communicate effectively

· Able to articulate a strong leadership philosophy and people development experience
