Vice President Talent Acquisition

The Vice President of Talent Acquisition will lead talent acquisition needs of the business as it relates to sourcing, hiring, and recruiting. This position s to the to the Chief HR Officer and will partner with Senior Leadership across GMR to continue to build and evolve the talent acquisition strategy and operations and develop the recruiting team. to enable the success our core business.

This position will lead the ongoing development and operational effectiveness of our in-house recruiting team, in addition to managing external recruiting sources. The VP of TA will drive the strategy and operations for recruiting in all geographies leading a team of over 60 team members across the nation. Additionally, this role is responsible for building a world class recruiting organization and enable GMR’s leaders to identify, engage, and hire the strongest team members with the right cultural fit. The VP Talent Acquisition is responsible for partnering with the business to determine GMR key needs and developing new strategies for identifying, engaging, and closing the best candidates for all disciplines across the nation, while supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

This position will also have responsibility for driving the implementation of policies and processes of our iCIMS ATS system, including management and partnership with the vendor. Additional vendor relationships will include our compliance with Affirmative Action Plans, mandatory ing, and EEO job postings with state workforce centers and other sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of a progressive recruiting strategy and operational execution across all areas and locations of GMR’s business. Key front-line roles include a variety of position including both clinical and aviation positions.
• Lead the design, development and management of end-to-end talent acquisition practices including but not limited to: Sourcing, Candidate Experience, Employee Referral Program, Intern Program, Diversity recruiting programs and College/University Relations
• Partner with Communications and Marketing team to evolve our employment branding.
• Collaborate with HR and Operational Leaders to build a comprehensive strategic hiring plan by setting the vision, strategy, and goals of the TA function in a matrixed environment.
• Refine and manage consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes (including management of agencies, other vendors and contingent workforce) that support a highly positive candidate experience and recruiter/hiring manager efficiencies.
• Take the lead role in executive recruitment activities in partnership with the CHRO.
• Support and provide direction to TA leadership team to ensure recruiting process, interviews, and documentation are in compliance with legal requirements and guidelines in all states in which the company does business.
• Build a data-driven recruiting organization, developing recruiting metrics and analytics that provide insights, drive decision making, and measure program ROI.
• Collaborate with the analytics team to develop and manage recruiting s, dashboards, and metrics. Establish and track metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting team, hiring managers, interviewers, and incoming talent.
• Provide market/industry/competitive intelligence and candidate insights to influence and shape talent and workforce decisions.
• In partnership with HRIS, build out and manage back-end recruiting operations capabilities including compliance, process improvements, and recruiting-related analytics.
• Partner with HR teams to provide excellent strategic partnership and guidance, identify efficiencies and build strong operating systems on issues related to compensation, operations, on-boarding and the long-term success of candidates once they join GMR.
• Stay abreast of trends in the business market, technology, and science of recruiting, providing guidance, consulting, and expertise around future GMR programs and approaches.
• Lead strategic, proactive and consultative recruiter capabilities for all internal client departments and talent markets.
• Oversee external recruitment agencies and suppliers to supplement efforts of a full-time team.
• Focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion metrics and goals and help create strategies related to increasing diversity in the workforce.

Education / Experience

• 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years at an executive level and a bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent experience.
• Post-graduate level degree in Human Resources, Business or related field is preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume recruitment environment is required.
• A proven track record within multiple HR disciplines is desired.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively and influence all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
• Ability to stand firm and remain committed when necessary and facilitate discussion and understanding when difficult decisions must be made and executed.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, depending on business demands.

• Prior track-record of successfully building, inspiring and managing a large-scale global recruiting (or similar business operations) function for a high-growth, high recruiting volume company.

• Demonstrated skills in project management, data analysis, and presentation.
• Ability to demonstrate end results and benefits of recruiting efforts.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills to integrate talent and business strategies.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving, matrixed environment and deal constructively with change and ambiguity.
