The Role:
What’s a typical day like at JLG? The answer is never dull, this exceptional opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual, driven and proactive to fit with our high performing finance team. You will work closely with our CFO, Finance Team and Managers to assist in the daily running of business and contribute to the continued growth of the company.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with Business Unit Managers on all financial related aspects
• Ensure complete accuracy and timeliness in the provision of financial information and management reporting
• Provide input in General Operations meeting preparation
• Involvement in WIP reviews and ensure businesses are conducting correctly
• Involvement in Cost Reporting and ensure businesses are conducting correctly
• Provide a suite of financial reports monthly to each designated business
• Complete bank reconciliations monthly
• Complete periodic balance sheet reconciliations
• Involvement in budgeting process
• Compile board commentary produced by business units
• Maintain fixed assets including additions, disposals, transfers and verification
• Work with business units to minimise aged debtors
• Conduct job status changes and movements between jobs
• Review AP Batches applicable to business units
• Ensure overhead expenses are correctly allocated including wages, phones, e-tags, fuel
• Key involvement in any financial related correspondence, tenders and other ad-hoc questions relating to the operations of the designated business units.
• Provide assistance to other areas of finance to achieve key milestones, eg half and full year end reporting, board reporting, audit, statutory returns, surveys etc

• Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy?
• Are you extremely motivated and can think outside the box?
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting
• Must have advanced MS Office experience
