The Role:

You will need to have experience in accounts and cashiering in a hospitality environment and enjoy a busy diverse workplace. You will be working in a small team, unsupervised and have the flexibility to cover extra hours as required.

Key responsibilities of the role can include the below but are not limited to:
Prepare, examine and ensure financial records are accurate.
Maintain separate floats for Food/Beverage, Gaming, TAB, Keno
Responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Daily, weekly and monthly financial reconciliations.
Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Run payroll weekly for the Team Approx. 40 employees
Audit revenue reports received including creating & analysing spreadsheets
General administrative support and other ad-hoc duties. Key Selection Criteria:
Positive attitude, sound work ethic & dependable
Have excellent communication skills
Be customer focused and deliver a first-class service.
Prior bookkeeping experience in a similar role
An active problem solver and team player
Have great presence on the phone
Be sincere, professional, empathetic and trustworthy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Experience in finance and accounting within the hospitality industry
Have excellent computer skills
Have a mastery of Xero, Excel,Swiftpos, Wirely, Deputy and Microsoft Office The role requires good time management skills, aptitude to think outside the box, strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
