Global 4 Communications is seeking a Software Developer

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30

Salary: £55k – £65k DOE

Location: Working mostly remote with occasional travel to the office required

With an expanding team and launch of new projects, a Software Developer position has arisen. You will be a key technical member taking up a valued position within the business. Our development team supports all areas of the business including:

• Responsive website/web application development
• Providing statistics that can be displayed on the wallboards in each room/department
• Improving performance of existing websites and applications
• E-commerce online sign up form
• CRM systems

Key responsibilities:

• developing and maintaining internal and external facing applications
• working with team members to produce robust and reliable solutions
• providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members
• contribute to continual development process improvement

Required Skills:

• PHP
• MySQL
• VueJS
• Laravel
• Git
• Docker
• Linux shell
• GraphQL
• REST/SOAP API’s
• Min experience: 5 years commercial

Desirable skills

• TDD
• BDD/ATDD
• CI/CD
• MongoDB
• Experience working in Agile environment
