Job Description

• Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet user requirements.
• Extensive experience on different types of testing that includes Functional testing, System Integration testing, Regression testing and UAT.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum Environments on multiple Projects.
• Experience in developing test plans, strategies, and test Scenarios.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts. Collaborate with the development team to address and resolve identified issues in a timely manner.
• Expertise in using JIRA/Excel for writing the Test Cases and tracking the Defects.
• Hands on Experience using SQL queries.
• Participate in Defect Triaging during Major releases and tracking the Defects.
• Perform Smoke testing to ensure that new changes or updates do not affect existing functionalities.
• Good Knowledge on qTest.
• Excellent Communication skills-Verbal and written.

Years of experience/education and/or certifications required: 6-9yrs as a software Test Engineer. Good to have ISTQB Certification.

• What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have?
• Hands-on experience and strong understanding of SDLC and STLC on Agile Scrum environments
• Experience on clinical data management systems. Quick understanding and self-ownership
• Hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Similar systems
• Hands on experience in Healthcare/ Pharma background is preferred..
