Glenmont Job Corps is a Federally funded education and training program focusing on employability skills and job placement for young adults, located just outside the beautiful city of Albany in New York. We specialize in helping young adults in need of additional training and education prepare for careers in a variety of fields.

Glenmont Job Corps is currently seeking a candidate to fill the role of Academic Teacher. The ideal candidate would bring energy and enthusiasm to the overall management of the Center, as well as a desire to be a part of educating and empowering youth is intrinsic to success.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:45 am – 4:45 pm

Responsibilities and Duties

To provide applied academic instruction to students. In addition, the Academic Teacher also provides individual case management and develops the employability skills of students.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree w/a valid in-State teaching certificate required. May be waived by Department of Labor temporarily in conjunction with approved development plan to acquire certification.

Pay: $62,000.00 per year
