We are currently seeking a highly motivated Commercial Officer / Junior Accountant to support our site based Commercial team. This is a role that attracts a Monday – Friday roster, providing accounting and finance support to our Operation. The position will offer variety and opportunity for the right individual. You will have the opportunity to learn and tackle new challenges every day. As a team, we look out for each other, are driven by success, and value safety above all else.

This role offers variety and challenging work across a broad range of financial accounting actives for both operational and corporate requirements. You will mentor cost owners in cost control, accruals and commercial responsibilities.

You will have the ability to promote a constructive cost culture within the finance team and across our site. The successful candidate will be a business and administration minded individual with an interest in further developing their career. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to continue or begin to study as part of their development to achieve certification. You will just need to have a tertiary qualification in commerce or accounting (or equivalent) to commence this journey.
