LECTURER – SUPPORTED EDUCATION – HOSPITALITY
21 hours per week – 0.6 FTE
The Faculty of Access and Continuing Learning are looking for an experienced individual to deliver Supported Education – Hospitality courses to a diverse range of students including many who have Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, across a number of levels. The successful candidates will be required to be qualified and able to deliver the Supported Education – Hospitality course.
The post holder will work closely with the Curriculum Manager to provide high quality learning and assessment opportunities that will enhance learning and teaching with a strong learner focus.
You will be educated to SCQF Level 8 or have relevant professional equivalent in the specialist area, or significant relevant experience in the specialist area. As an academic member of staff of Glasgow Clyde College you will aid excellence in learning through the preparation and delivery of high quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, and by supporting learners.
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, work to their own initiative and relate well to student groups. With excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to work under pressure, candidates must have a flexible and can do attitude to work and be qualified in their preferred subject area.

Salary: £34,170 – £42,357 per annum (pro rata)
Location: Cross Campus. You may be required to travel and work within all Glasgow Clyde campuses.
