Council is seeking to appoint a maximum term part time Recruitment and Benefits Officer to assist the Recruitment and Benefits team in the People Culture and Safety group. The working hours for this position will be 60 hours per fortnight, working hours and days negotiable. This position is for a maximum term with the anticipated end date being 30 June 2022. The annual salary package $74,708.02 (pro rata).
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide a confidential recruitment service through traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas to enhance and support recruitment performance and outcomes.

Your success will be demonstrated through your ability to multi-task whilst providing exceptional customer service. You will be present, pro-active and solutions-focused and recognise that the community is the core of our business.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience providing professional recruitment services and administrative support to a team.
- Understanding of and experience interpreting and applying legislation, awards, policy and procedures.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written English) to engage with a broad customer base.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
- Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
