GKN Hiring for Finance Graduate Job at London, England Full Time

Support the corporate finance function in improving its reporting and analytical capabilities through responsibilities embedded in the monthly and quarterly processes. Through this corporate role, the Graduate will gain knowledge on the finance corporate processes, the GKN Automotive company structure as well as build commercial awareness and skills in the analysis of external competitive behaviour.

The Finance Graduate will be responsibile for:

• Financial Analysis and Reporting : Lead the monthly collection, consolidation and analysis of key reports / data, analysing projects and underlying business performance. Create reports for the Executive Team (monthly / quarterly) that tell the story behind the data, providing the financial intelligence required to make critical choices.
• Treasury : Assist the Treasury team in monitoring and analysing the foreign exchange and market movements. Use analytical skills to identify any foreign exchange exposures, presenting findings in a monthly commentary report for the Group Treasurer and CFO.
• Global Projects : Partner with members of the Global Finance Leadership Team to support the implementation of various global Finance projects, as required. Examples may include:
  • Design a supplier credit assessment process to be used by our global finance shared service team
  • Design forward-looking analytics models that enable users to understand data and leverage findings for business decisions
  • Maintain the finance intranet, ensuring that content is relevant, meaningful and impactful for the global finance community
• Act as a “Champion” for all purchasing processes within the global head office, providing support to the CEO and his team, as required.

Essential: Bachelor degree in Finance & Accounting / Economics / Business, good IT Skills (Excel, database management), good presentation skills
