Job Summary
GKN Aerospace is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager.
We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team! As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring talented candidates. You’ll be in charge of planning, developing and implementing a consistent recruitment approach through the UK Nordics Region. You will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a consistent recruiting program for employees in the UK/Nordics Region
Thread the GKN Culture principles in every step of the recruitment process.
Design, plan, and executive branding initiatives that match our global branding.
Encourage and build brand ambassadors for GKN.
Use SuccessFactors (Wilbur) to maintain all recruitment work. Work with any additional changes and advancements in the system.
Source and attract qualified candidates for open positions.
Understand hiring needs and work with forecasting.
Ensure adherence to standardized global recruitment process.
Find bottlenecks in recruitment process.
Perform candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
Embrace continuous improvement on all recruitment processes.
Lead, oversee, and mentor all members of the recruiting team.
Develop sourcing methods for hard to fill roles.
Determine, measure, and report on all recruiting KPIs.
Job Qualifications
You will have ideally have significant experience of in house talent acquisitions.
Experience of leading a team
In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
Familiarity with a variety of different selection methods (interviews, assignments, psychological test etc.)
Hands on experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards
Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
Ability to motivate employees
A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Strong knowledge of Human Resources law and/or OFFCP.
