Accountant

Private hospitality group is looking for a highly motivated, team oriented individual with a strong attention to detail to join our fabulous Accounting team. Candidate must have strong business acumen, organization and communication skills and be customer service focused. The position is part time 10 – 14 hours/ week. Work would be done in our Clairemont office one day per week and the remaining work can be done remotely. We can be flexible with your schedule.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare catering event invoices, process payments and manage collections.

· Full cycle accounts payable including coding vendor invoices, check runs and resolving vendor statement discrepancies.

· Manage vendor relations.

· Enter all credit card transactions and reconcile credit card accounts.

· Prepare month end journal entries.

· Respond to ad hoc requests from management

Qualifications:

· 3 – 5 years of Accounting experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Strong organizational and analytical skills

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

· Solid QuickBooks Pro experience

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
