Girling Jones are currently working with an established consultancy in Somerset. They’re looking to hire an experienced Civil/ Drainage Engineer to further grow their current Infrastructure offering.

This company is well known for its professionalism while still maintaining a small company feel. The design team has extensive experience providing engineering services for schemes from site appraisal, concept, and planning, through to technical submission, tender, and ultimately construction.

Within this position, you will take a proactive role in a wide range of development projects throughout the SouthWest

To be considered you will need to have consultancy experience on major drainage projects, either on major highways or infrastructure schemes associated with residential, retail or commercial developments.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Be able to demonstrate knowledge, and experience of industry-standard software including Windes, PDS, AutoCAD, Civils 3D etc.
• Can demonstrates sound judgement and are astute in managing and leading small medium and large projects, including dealing with the associated risks, project finances and costs
• Seek practical, efficient, innovative and elegant solutions to engineering problems
