Responsibilities

• You will use data, insight and your expertise to make, and influence, strategic decisions on the best way to meet known recruitment demand for a given practice, role or area.

• Build strong and effective relationships in those areas, based on your ability to deliver and your subject matter expertise.

• Provide expert coaching, challenge and advice to senior stakeholders, and colleagues across DWP, especially within PC&P and Specialist Recruitment. You will be recruitment and talent acquisition partner to the business, vacancy holders, heads of role and functional leads.

• Collate, interpret and package market data and talent insight, using a variety of tools, to influence recruitment decisions and strategies.

• Give advice, make recommendations and make decisions on which roles do, and do not, need Talent Acquisition, Marketing and/or attraction support, and to what extent. Make decisions about the level of intervention required and the nature of that intervention, including the need for increased spending and activity on specialist platforms, events, advertising.

• You are responsible for sourcing candidates to fill specialist job roles. You will have an expert understanding of the available tools and make decisions about the right tools and methods to use to fill specific vacancies.

• Build a network of potential candidates from within specialist talent pools, and building effective relationships within that network.

• Perform candidate engagement and attraction using tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, and specialist job boards. This includes bespoke messaging and outreach to candidates, phone conversations, lead nurturing and managing an online presence.

• Manage quality candidates through the recruitment journey.

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £200.00-£250.00 per day
