Job Overview:

The Staff Accountant will interact closely with individuals at all levels throughout the organization and with vendor/agency partners to ensure timely and accurate financial accounting and reporting at the restaurant and corporate level. This position will also assist in various ad hoc financial analysis and support the development of restaurant level standard operating procedures to ensure proper control processes are followed and company assets are protected.

Reports To: Accounting Manager

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: Restaurant Regional Director of Operations and General Managers, Corporate Office staff, Commissary Operations leaders, Franchise Owners.

External: Audit/tax accounting firm, POS support team, credit card/payment processing teams, state and local taxing/licensing authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and /or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the employee will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently with or without reasonable accommodation.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

B.S. degree in accounting or finance

1-2 years of applicable accounting experience

Proficiency in Excel

Maintain superior attention to detail while managing multiple objectives concurrently

Ability to build and maintain relationships with various levels of management and office personnel

Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with other team members to solve problems and achieve organizational goals

Analytical problem solver

Ability to speak, read and write English fluently

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Experience in restaurant/hospitality industry

Experience with Great Plains, Office 365, PowerPoint and other Microsoft products

Pay: $50,000.00 – $53,000.00 per year
