Gigstart Hiring for Lead Sales Engineer Full Time

Gigstart is working with an exciting SaaS company, looking to hire a Lead Sales Engineer to lead the function, ing straight into the Head of Sales Engineering.

This is a remote position, but you would need to be based out of the East Coast.

Responsibilities

• directly to the Head of Sales Engineering.
• Collaborate closely with prospects/customers and the Sales team, engaging in discovery, delivering demonstrations, and constructing/presenting proofs of concept.
• Serve as the client-facing technical advocate, providing crucial insights and crafting rapid prototypes for potential customers.
• Immerse yourself in the platform, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and adeptly positioning our offering.
• Fulfill the role of a technical advisor during the sales process, with a specific focus on the vertical you support (e.g., Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Public Sector).
• Partner with internal departments (Marketing, Products, etc.) to contribute to the growth of the platform and vision. This involves activities like beta testing, providing product feedback, and presenting at trade shows.
• Standardize and enhance the platform.

Requirements:

• Bring more than 6 years of experience in technical pre-sales or a combination of industry expertise in Financial Services, Insurance, or the Public Sector.
• Previous experience in constructing POCs, conducting demos, and possessing comfort with C-level interactions (both internally and externally).
• Proven experience working with clients, including designing specifications, prototyping, and delivering presentations.
• Expertise in architecting scalable web applications.
• Demonstrated capability in creating integrations with CRMs, complex data sources, etc.
• Proficient working knowledge of REST APIs and other web services.
• Ability to convey technical topics and business value to a diverse audience.
• Genuine commitment to serving customers and delivering an outstanding product.
• An inquisitive nature to learn about the low code/no code industry and relevant partner technologies, including RPA, OCR, CRM, data lakes, etc.
• A continual focus on enhancing and improving the platform.
