Giganet Hiring for Talent Acquisition Lead – £55-60k Job at Reading, England Full Time

The Talent Acquisition Lead will build a recruiting machine to ensure we get the best available people to drive our business – we need to recruit 60+ people this year and c.100 people in 2022.

To be successful, you will use your communication skills and knowledge of the market coupled with relentless energy and drive. You need to be motivated and results-driven, enjoy working in a team environment and passionate about finding for the best people for the right roles. Your success is vital to enable us to meet our business growth.

The role is based in Reading and reports to the HR Director – we have a flexible location practice and enable our people to work from home should they wish to do so.

Activities include:

• Constantly reviewing and recommending new and innovative ways to access and attract the best people to Giganet
• Sourcing and recruiting the best people to join Giganet staff ,ensuring that the applicant experience is first class
• Prime recruiting focus is on Build, Operations, Sales/Marketing and IT Groups
• Selecting and recommending appropriate candidates to Hiring Managers, tracking recruits within the system, managing the progress of applications, closing down unsuccessful applications
• Utilising our ATS to track and manage the recruiting process
• Preparing weekly/monthly and ad hoc statistics and reports
• Ensuring that all applicants and Hiring Managers have a positive impression of Giganet throughout the recruitment and selection process
• Building a pipeline of future talent by managing relationships with candidates and Partners including Services Resettlement Teams, selected agencies and government bodies etc
• Managing recruiting costs to ensure their cost effectiveness

Essential

• Has a proven track record of Talent Acquisition within the UK
• Has first class communication skills, with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Has a good cultural awareness and the ability to relate to staff and candidates at all levels
• Has a good understanding of Equality & Diversity and the drive to embrace this
• To be a self-starter, self-motivated and achievement-oriented
• Has great IT skills – can utilise ATS (we use TeamTailor) and will be a whizz with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

Desirable

• Has previously worked in an in-house Talent Acquisition role in an ISP/ Highways/ Telco organisation
• Preferably educated to degree level
