We are looking for a strong Mobile Software Engineer who welcomes both engineering and maintenance tasks, and to help be the driving force behind our latest initiative: a mobile app built for the group therapy / mental health sector. Your work could impact the lives of many in a meaningful way.

You will be working with our candid and collaborative dev team to implement new user interfaces and features, where your knowledge and advice about application architecture and the newest mobile technologies will be highly appreciated. The code you write will need to be cleanly organized and of the highest quality. You’ll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models
• Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application
• Fixing bugs and performance problems
• Writing clean, readable, and testable code
• Cooperating with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions
• Skills & Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science or other related field of study and/or applicable work experience
• 3+ years of professional experience on a team developing: React.js or React Native
• 3+ years of professional experience as a developer on a production project
• Familiar with CI/CD and Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Unit Testing frameworks such as Jest and UI testing frameworks like Detox
• Experience with Redux for state management
• Experience developing bridges to native components
• Experience with RESTful APIs and mobile libraries for networking, specifically AXIOS
• Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications
• Familiarity with Git, specifically branching and merging workflows
• Familiarity with push notifications, or using multichannel communication tools such as Twilio and Firebase
• Extensive knowledge about mobile app development. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s).
• Integrations familiarity with Drupal 9 is a plus
• Experience with Drupal managed via composer is a plus

Nice to haves

• Experience with Lando and/or Pantheon LocalDev
• NewRelic familiarity
• Experience with Jquery (for Drupal)
• Experience with Drupal Paragraphs module, Views, Media module
• Experience with Twig Templating

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
