PART-TIME SALES & MARKETING ASSOCIATE

Gibson Stainless & Specialty, Inc., a quality and customer focused manufacturer of stainless electrical fittings, is looking to hire a part-time Sales & Marketing Associate in Greensburg, PA.

Gibson Stainless is a privately-held, constantly growing company with a family-like atmosphere that has been in business for 25 years. It services essential industries such as oil and gas, food and beverage, wastewater treatment, petrochemical and others. The company focuses on working with domestic suppliers to offer products that are Made in USA. It prides itself on a very large inventory and its ability to ship 90% of orders within 24 hours.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in company marketing plans and projects
• Maintain and monitor social media platforms
• Research and develop website content
• Write occasional blog post, digital marketing targeted emails, press releases, etc.
• Remain up to date on industry news and events
• Design literature including price sheets, brochures, and catalogs
• Work with outside marketing agencies and suppliers
• Become familiar with and educated on product line
• Occasionally provide sales and customer service backup with duties including fielding incoming sales calls, responding to emails, and providing customers with answers to questions regarding pricing, availability, order status, etc.
• Assist with administrative duties and projects as needed

Requirements:

• Must be able to multi-task
• Ability to work independently
• Proactive and self-motivated
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal, phone and presentation skills
• Eager to take on new challenges and learn new marketing trends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferences:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Content writing experience
• Graphic design experience
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

This position is being marketed as part-time; willing to discuss schedule and number of hours.
