As the Director of Corporate Talent Acquisition, you will be committed to inclusion, diversity, and equity, while leading Giant Eagle’s Corporate recruiting function. This role will partner with business leaders to identify talent gaps, and implement sourcing strategies to ensure we have robust, broad-reaching strategies that attract diverse, qualified, forward-thinking talent. You will drive efficiency through consistent evaluation, accountability and advancement of performance, metrics, streamlining process, and technology.

This role has accountability for our Corporate, and Executive search functions as well as our internal Recruitment Marketing team. The leader will leverage their knowledge of our business and its priorities to develop short- and long-term strategies that ensure an ongoing pipeline of top, diverse talent for our critical roles.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 5 to 7 years in a strategic recruitment leadership role
• Experience Desired: 3rd party/headhunter recruiting experience, Corporate recruiting experience, Executive recruiting, experience, Recruitment Marketing experience.
• Education Required: Bachelors Degree
• Certification or Licensing Required: AIRS Certification or other certifications in Recruiting/Hiring

Job Responsibilities

• Provide strategic talent acquisition thought partnership to Giant Eagle leadership including a deep understanding of our business and strategy and how internal and external talent can help accelerate our transformation and achieve our goals.
• Provide consultation and collaboration with our HRBP’s, Corporate and Store hiring managers in attracting, recruiting, interviewing, and selecting talent while maintaining a consistent and engaging candidate experience.
• Source, hire, lead, engage, coach and mentor an exceptional recruiting team across North America and India.
• Drive accountability for an efficient, dynamic full cycle recruiting process across all roles.
• Oversee the sourcing of candidates whose values align with the enterprise overall goals and expectations while cultivating a high-performance team.
• Lead the Recruitment Marketing team to build, implement and evolve our employer branding and attraction strategy on various recruiting and networking platforms, and social media.
• Develop, maintain and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, data and insights to drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes while demonstrating empathy for those who you partner with.
• Openly communicate with business partners and key stakeholders across the company on recruitment strengths and opportunities, striving to identify and remove roadblocks before they become an issue.
• Go beyond just fixing issues to identify root causes, evaluate optimal solutions, and recommend comprehensive upgrades to prevent future recurrence.
• Ensure that third-party vendor and executive search firm agreements are appropriately negotiated and executed.
• Stay ahead of external trends and collaborate with peers to define creative recruiting and sourcing techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
