Warehouse Operative

Pay Rate:
Late shift – £12.99 per hour increasing to £13.63 from 30th October
Night shift – £14.49 per hours increasing to £14.81 from 30th October
Day Shift – £11.99 per hour increasing to £12.29 from 30th October

Hours of work: Monday to Friday or Tues – Sat various shifts
Lates – 4 pm – 8 pm
Nights – 23:30 pm – 08:00 am

Flexibility on start and finish times may vary so please take this into consideration before applying.

Your Duties Will Include (But Not Exclusive):

* Unloading and loading vans to time slots.
* Manual handling of parcels up to 30kg
* Scanning and checking labels
* Ensuring that parcels are handled safely to prevent damage
* Unwrapping and wrapping pallets
* Checking for any damage or faults in goods

The ideal candidate;

* We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
* We are looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly
* Fast-paced and target oriented environment
* Must be able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg
* Flexibility to work overtime when needed
* Experience in a warehouse environment
* Ability to carry out continual heavy lifting
* Knowledge of goods in and goods out scanning systems
