GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Resourcing Lead for our Public Sector client based in Truro, Cornwall. The Resourcing Lead will perform a strategic role providing expert resourcing support to workstreams within the programme. They will be a professional and credible partner to the clinical and operational leaders within service areas identifying and managing key people interventions in partnership.

Main Duties of the Resourcing Lead:

• Develop and maintains strong and influential working relationships with designated service areas, managers, staff and union representatives and through this relationship management, drive to deliver a challenging agenda when stakeholders may be distracted by different priorities
• As an effective team player, works as part of the programme to communicate and drive forward resourcing solutions to complex problems and to influence others at all levels to make changes and improvements
• To engage fully with the annual appraisal process and creation of a personal development plan
• To participate in regular supervision with line manager
• To work in partnership with operational leaders, professional leads and business as usual teams to establish relevant resourcing plans which support the delivery of high quality care
• To act as an advocate of change and modernisation in support of clinical, operational and people strategies, championing best practice, influencing key clinical and operational decisions
• Contributes as appropriate to Trust and external meetings, service developments or changes which could have an impact on the workforce
• Contribute to the financial planning activity for designated service area through workforce planning reviews

Role Requirements:

• Degree level qualification in relevant related subject area or equivalent experience
• Masters level post graduate qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant area such as management or leadership
• Demonstrable leadership and management skills in a complex working environment
• Extensive experience in analysing and interpreting workforce information to inform workforce strategies and plans at a senior level
• Experience of providing high quality, person centric and pragmatic resourcing solutions
• Understanding of workforce theory and practice
• Strong leadership and influencing skills
