GHD Hiring for Talent Acquisition Business Partner – Indigenous Job at Melbourne Full Time

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner will act as a trusted partner to clients and deliver talent acquisition outcomes and objectives to support the GHD’s strategic direction. This role focuses on building Indigenous employment within GHD and developing a range of strategies to support and improve Indigenous employment outcomes.

Working closely with key internal business groups, Talent/People team and external service providers, you will be:

• Working with partners to expand the range of Indigenous employment opportunities, developing sourcing strategies and pipelining of candidates
• Growing the representation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander employees in senior roles
• Improving the awareness of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander culture in the workplace
• Creating, maintaining, and continuing to establish relationships with Indigenous recruitment companies (including formalising with supplier agreements where needed)
• Developing strategies surrounding our EVP for hiring Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates
• Reviewing end to end processes to ensure cultural inclusivity. Working with managers and partners on integration and support programs post-hiring
• Reporting and sharing of information, providing ad hoc updates to TA Lead for AUS/APAC, the Executive RAP Sponsor and other key partners as required
• Connecting and working closely with the Indigenous Services team and the RAP Champions to identify and act upon strategies or opportunities

What you will bring to the team:

• Five years + end to end recruitment experience with capability in pro-active sourcing of candidates
• High level of cultural proficiency and ability to work with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates and businesses
• Deep passion for engagement and collaboration with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates
• Demonstrated understanding of key issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities especially in the areas of employment and career progression
• Commercial awareness, ideally with experience working within a professional service or engineering/design consulting environment highly preferable
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with proven experience in working with a variety of partners
• Systems proficiency within a variety of Applicant Tracking Systems
• Degree qualifications desirable
