About The Role

As a Data Entry Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in healthcare insurance verification and enrollment processes. Your role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction and providing exceptional service. Key responsibilities include accurate and efficient data entry in IDX and making necessary edits in health plan portals. Familiarity with health claims process flows and expertise in healthcare terminology, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding, are essential.

Responsibilities

• Policy Management:
• Update member information promptly and accurately in electronic portals.
• Handle policy termination and reinstatement requests effectively.
• Health Coverage:
• Update coverage plan information, including eligibility and benefits.
• Conduct thorough research to locate insurance plans for healthcare providers.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive member information.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors for resolution.
• Stay updated on changes in health insurance regulations and policies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals.

Preferred Experience

• Strong computer skills, including data entry and navigation.
• Excellent typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.
• Ability to adhere to schedules and duties.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve effectively.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in a relevant field.
• Clear background check.

Work From Home Requirements

• High-speed internet (25MBPS download, 5MBPS upload).
• Ability to hardwire directly to modem.

Salary: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
