Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed documentation.
Use Microsoft Excel and Word efficiently to manage and organize information.
Understand and apply medical terminology in daily tasks.
Assist in insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and patient registration.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure seamless service.
Adhere to HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry (preferred).
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.
Proficient in using computers and typing.
Bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly desired.
Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace policies.
A stable internet connection and a designated workspace for a professional remote work environment.
