Key Responsibilities
Manage inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries such as warranty questions, returns, shipment tracking, and more, with a focus on resolution and satisfaction.
Create and update internal s, including sales data, return logs, international shipping documents, and UPS tracking information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Review records, documents, and correspondence to resolve customer inquiries thoroughly and follow up to ensure complete satisfaction.
Collaborate with various departments, including Shipping/Receiving, Accounting, and Purchasing, to streamline customer service processes and resolve any customer concerns promptly.
Exercise discretion and sound judgment, leveraging a deep understanding of company policies and best practices in customer service.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is required, with some college coursework preferred.
At least one year of experience in customer service, preferably in a medium to large organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is essential. Experience with Great Plains is a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on teamwork.
Exceptional telephone etiquette and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills are critical.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and adhere to deadlines.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make reasoned judgments based on available information.
Comfortable using essential office equipment (computer, 10 key, telephone, copier, fax) on a continuous basis.
Must be adept at multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
This position is based in our Riverside office, and remote work is not available.
