Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly and effectively to incoming customer calls
Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
Utilize provided scripts and resources to ensure consistency and accuracy in communications
Access online reference materials to deliver confident and precise information to customers
Operate various technical systems with efficiency, including call center phone systems and internet applications
Achieve quality assurance standards and meet performance metrics set by the department
Provide customers with up-to-date, accurate information about services and programs
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
Requirements
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Strong computer and internet navigation skills
Reliable, high-speed internet connection capable of supporting voice and data simultaneously (hardwired via ethernet)
Ability to pass a language and knowledge assessment
Capacity to obtain a public trust entry of duty security clearance as this role involves working with government clients
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual or multilingual abilities
Prior experience in a customer service role
Previous clearance for Public Trust Entry of Duty (specifically for government clients)
Professional licenses in Insurance, Healthcare, and/or Finance sectors
Experience with FEMA Call Center operations
