The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the execution of the recruitment strategy and full cycle interview process to support recruiting efforts for roles in Manufacturing/Production and other business functions. In addition, this incumbent will prepare progress reports and support scheduling and ensure continuous candidate flow. The incumbent will also partner with Getinge’s VMO and any other third-party agencies, as well as university and local high school representatives, and ensure improvements in both the communications, progressive reporting and talent pipeline results.

Defined Term Role – 12 Month Contract

Hybrid – eligible to work 1 – 2 days remote

Job Functions:

• Assists with talent acquisition process, which will include recruitment, interviewing, scheduling, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for exempt, non-exempt and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Develops and maintains strong working relationships with hiring managers and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, results and credibility.
• Builds and maintains a candidate pool; keeping in touch with potential applicants for future openings.
• Coordinates all communications and updates with candidates and hiring managers.
• Schedules candidates for interviews and ensures to address all logistics and tracking of candidate flow.
• Oversees, coordinates, and participates in onsite and external career fairs.
• Manages all walk-in candidate flow, tracks interview/hiring activity and produces weekly reports.
• Works closely with hiring managers, HR and Senior Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure a satisfactory interview process, leaving candidates with a great experience.
• Stays abreast of current legislation and policy changes to ensure recruiting activities follow all processes and procedures outlined by Getinge policies and Federal, State, and Local employment law.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong skills using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience using applicant tracking systems such as SuccessFactors is strongly preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

• College degree is preferred in a related discipline including Human Resources, Business, and/or Organizational Development.
• A minimum of two years related HR and/or Talent Acquisition experience.
• Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
