Duties/Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities outline the expectations for this position but may not encompass all responsibilities:
Assist with any orders/documentation needs
Act as a liaison between the facility and other departments within the company to fulfill patient needs
Coordinate with the Regional Director of Customer Service regarding facility and provider needs, when necessary
Keep key facility staff informed about patient updates and requirements
Communicate with family members regarding patient care, as required
Assist with new patient consent paperwork and obtain necessary signatures
Support providers with administrative tasks
Deliver exceptional customer service
Foster and maintain positive relationships with providers, patients, and facility staff
Regularly monitor email and other company communication channels to ensure patient needs are addressed
Skills And Qualifications
Previous customer service/phone experience
Ability to multitask effectively
Reliable and dependable work ethic
Proficiency with electronic health record systems
Previous experience in healthcare scheduling or related medical field
Familiarity with HIPAA privacy laws
Technologically savvy with computer proficiency
Strong interpersonal skills with a tactful and diplomatic approach
Clear and concise verbal and written communication abilities
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service
