Job Summary
As a Patient Care Navigator, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our callers, embodying the essence of our brand through various communication channels. In addition to representing our brand ethos, you will handle a range of essential responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming calls promptly and courteously, delivering high-quality patient care and exemplary customer service.
Interact with callers in a friendly and helpful manner, addressing their needs and providing guidance as necessary.
Schedule and reschedule patient appointments efficiently, coordinating with different departments to ensure seamless resolution for callers.
Supply callers with accurate information, including addresses and provider details.
Handle urgent patient requests, promptly ing any issues to the Contact Center Leader.
Maintain accurate patient records in the CRM system.
Assist callers with inquiries regarding appointments or cancellations.
Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards as outlined by the Contact Center Leader.
Respond to emails and voicemails in a timely manner.
Participate in staff meetings as directed.
Adhere to HIPAA compliance guidelines, ensuring strict confidentiality of patient information.
Demonstrate a professional, warm, and helpful demeanor in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and physicians.
Communicate effectively via telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
Interpret and implement clinical and non-clinical policies and procedures.
Undertake any additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of experience in a Contact Center or Customer Service role.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and MS Word).
Experience In a Healthcare Contact Center Preferred.
Remote work experience desirable.
Familiarity with eClinical Works electronic medical records software a plus.
Ability to sit and communicate for extended periods.
Proficiency in telephone operation, writing, and computer data entry.
