Key Responsibilities
Foster a safe and welcoming atmosphere for clinic clients and their families, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Facilitate the enrollment of new clients and maintain updated client records in our electronic health record system.
Coordinate client appointments with clinical and medical staff efficiently, prioritizing timely access to care.
Manage centralized scheduling for all clinical staff, ensuring accurate and up-to-date schedules to optimize productivity.
Verify Medicaid eligibility and authorization for services at each client visit, utilizing relevant portals and systems.
Provide support during crisis interventions and emergency situations, ensuring adherence to protocols and promoting safety.
Deliver culturally sensitive and trauma-informed services in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
Offer administrative assistance to the front desk team as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Prior experience with Electronic Medical Record systems and Medicaid billing preferred; familiarity with CareLogic EHR is a plus.
Proficiency in mental health and medical terminology.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with an emphasis on effective client interaction.
Demonstrated ability to handle diverse client needs with diplomacy and empathy.
Capacity to establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the workplace, with a commitment to in-person work.
