Position Overview
As a Medical Records Sorter, you’ll play a crucial role in meticulously collecting and accurately organizing medical records. Your responsibilities will revolve around indexing records efficiently, ensuring precision in classification, and utilizing your clinical expertise to label documents based on type, provider, and study date.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-volume scanning of patient records.
Accurately categorize and sort records into appropriate sections, applying clinical knowledge for precise labeling.
Preferably possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare and medical records management.
Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Uphold a keen eye for detail, ensuring data accuracy at all times.
Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe, with the ability to troubleshoot technological issues effectively.
Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Strong organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Exhibit flexibility with working hours (9 am to 6 pm EST) for a fully remote position, open to overtime as needed, with minimal weekend commitments.
