Remote position with a required shift of Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST

Responsibilities

As a Medical Records Representative, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring accuracy in provider information through a provider scrub process

Requesting medical records from various providers and following up on these requests

Retrieving medical records via email, fax, mail, provider portal, etc.

Entering data into the QSHR system

Preparing charts before uploading them to CHC and conducting uploads

Conducting follow-up requests for additional information as needed

Reviewing the daily list of pended chases and monitoring chase requests

Handling all incoming correspondences and reviewing daily pended lists

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Strong phone and email etiquette

Excellent attendance and punctuality

Critical and strategic thinking skills for quality assurance

Experience handling PHI (Protected Health Information) and medical records

Qualifications

Ability to track and maintain accountability

Adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic environment

Prior Experience In The Healthcare Industry Is Preferred

Exceptional communication skills

Track record of productivity in a production-based environment
